Verizon Nexus 7 LTE KitKat 4.4.3 OTA Update Download is available now. This update can be both installed automatically or manually using the OTA (Over-The-Air) file that we have presented at the end of the post.
This new firmware update will bump the existing firmware version to KTU84L. Although, at present, this update is only available for LTE variant of Nexus 7 LTE devices, but it is expected that this update will soon be released for other devices. So, if you own a different LTE variant of Nexus 7 LTE device then keep checking your notification screens more often.
This new KitKat 4.4.3 KTU84L firmware mainly focuses on the stability and bug fixes. Thus, you won’t find any new features with this update. Although, this update does brings a better battery life and an improved Camera app. Additionally, KTU84P firmware has also been released for many Nexus devices such as Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 devices.
Since the update will be released in form of an OTA update, it might be some time since the update will be available automatically on your device. The update is around 50 Mb in size and you must ensure that you have more than 50% battery level on your device before trying to install the update.
Although, if you don’t want to wait for that long then you can use “adb sideload” method to install the firmware manually on your device. This method is easy and secure and you will have the latest android firmware on your device without waiting for very long.
To install the stock Android KitKat 4.4.3 KTU84L OTA update on your device, download the update from here. Although before trying to install the update manually, make sure that you are running on the KVT49L firmware on your Verizon Nexus 7 LTE device.
