According to official Sprint’s support page, this update is available in form of OTA (Over-The-Air) update and will bump the firmware to T217SVPUBNE7. Since Sprint has also presented us with an official changelog, we can describe in detail about what this new update will bring to your Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
According to the official changelog, this new update includes new Location menu, new Lock Screen access, Wireless Printing, transparent Status and Navigation Bars, full screen album art in the Lock Screen, SMS app chooser and expanded Emoji support.
As with all other OTA updates, this update will be released in gradual steps. This means that even though Sprint has released the official KitKat 4.4.2 update for your device, it might be a while until the update finally arrives on your device.
