You might have already heard that Samsung is planning to release new metal based smartphones name Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5. Although, the smartphones are yet to reach the market, Galaxy A3 has already received a firmware update. Samsung Galaxy A3 KitKat 4.4.4 firmware update ZCU1ANJ8 is now available on the official Samsung webpage for download.
Although, this is the same Android OS firmware that will come pre installed with Galaxy A3, this firmware was released for the Chinese version of the device. This news is not shocking since China will be the first country where the device will be up for sale.
So, now let’s talk about what this firmware build contains. This new stock firmware contains the latest Samsung’s touchwiz launcher along with stock wallpapers and all the perks that comes with KitKat 4.4.4.
Firmware for other regions should be available in next couple of weeks. The firmware can be used in case of any bricks or extract wallpapers, ringtones, etc. You can download the firmware from this link here and you install the firmware manually via Odin.
What’s your take on Samsung releasing firmware for devices that are not even released? Do you want same kind of effort and dedication about releasing the latest firmware upgrades for already released devices?
