According to the official Samsung changelogs, the update just revise link management handling in calender. There’s no mention of any bug fixes, enhancement patches or improvements with this update. Thus, all we can say is that this is really a minor update, which will leave users very disappointed.
The update is available over-the-air at the moment, so it should be long until you receive the firmware update notification. When you receive the notification, just tap on the notification to download and install the update. Also, you can check for the availability of the update manually for your device. To check for this update manually, just navigate to About Tablet in your Settings and then click on Download Now to check for the update.
The firmware update is about 34 Mb in size and will bump your firmware version to T707AUCU1ANK1. Download the update over a stable WiFi connection to ensure that the update is downloaded properly. Also, make sure that you have more than 50% battery backup before you try to install this update.
As we said earlier, your device will still be running Android 4.4.4 update after installing this minor firmware update on AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
