If you own a gigantic 6.3 inch AT&T Galaxy Mega then you should keep an eye on your notification screen. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega Android 4.4.2 firmware update is just right around the corner. The update will appear in form of an OTA (Over The Air) update.
This is a minor firmware update and all the KitKat features and perks including transparent status and navigation bars, white status bar iconography, immersive mode, color emoji support, cloud printing and full screen album art in the lockscreen were already provided in the previous update. This update will bring some performance enhancements and fixes. This latest firmware upgrade will bump the existing firmware version to KOT49H.I527UCUBNJ1.

If you didn’t receive the firmware upgrade notification for too long then you can always check manually if an update is available for your device. Just go to Settings > More >About device >Softer Update > Check for updates.
The update is about 77.3 MB so it is advised that you download it via a stable WiFi connection. Alternatively, you can install the update via Kies. All you have do is connect your AT&T Samsung Galaxy Mega using the USB cable to PC, run Kies and then check for the update.
