Just like the last time, Google has released a new version of Play Store with more Material design goodness and a new icon for the app. The previous Google Play Store update (v4.9.13) brought many Material design changes to the Play Store and this update brings us more closer to the Android L standards. The latest Google Play Store 5.0.31 is now available for download and is provided as an APK file at the end of this post.
Although this update is released to update the material design to the Android L standards but this update isn’t compatible to Android L yet.
Anyhow, let’s review what the latest update will bring to us.
- New App Icon
From Android Market to the Play Store, this app has seen lots of icon changes. Every new icon was designed to look more appealing and clear. We have to say, the new icon looks cool and pretty.
- New UI
The new Play Store app brings many user interface changes which ideally, should bring us closer to the new Android L standards but ironically, it doesn’t work on Android 4.4 KitKat. Anyhow, let’s discuss the new material design.
New Header and Search icon
New Permission Icons
