Create a Windows Shortcut Key

If you are a software geek like me then you must be have installed hundreds of software on your machine. Now installing software is one thing and manually opening them is another. The desktop become a unmanageable mess. Wouldn’t it be nice to create a windows shortcut key for every of your important software so that you don’t have to search your desktop every time you want to start a software?

Ofcourse you can do it with the help of some freeware softwares but i don’t want to add another load on your machine. So today i will tell u a tweak to Create a Windows Shortcut Key for every program of yours which require no additional software.

Step 1:- Create  Shortcut

Create the shortcut of your program if you don’t have it already then here is the way to make a new one.

Right Click on the software’s exe file present in the Program Files of your C Drive and then Select Properties

OR

Search for the program in the Start Menu and then Right Click on the software and then Select Properties

Now click on Create Shortcut and you will see something like this :-

Now Click on Shortcut Keybox and then enter a key and then click apply and ok. For eg:- If you enter the word “h” then the shortcut will be Ctrl + Alt+h which means if you press all these keys at same time then your progam will start.

Congrats !! you can now successfully create a windows shortcut key for everyone of your software.
